Future Cuisine Restaurant IBUKI

The Greenhouse Gases Observing Satellite (GOSat) of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), also known as Ibuki, is an Earth observation satellite and the world’s first satellite dedicated to greenhouse-gas-monitoring.
As a promotion for this satellite and its mission, we held a special event to serve the food that we might eat in the future if the global warming keeps going on. The unusual dishes served were transparent tacoyaki that reflects the decline in the yield of flour and sushi with fish that we normally do not eat that reflects the impact on fisheries, and many more. This event was introduced and spread out among general viewers and users on TV and social media.
